I worked closely with Catherine shortly after taking on the role of Head teacher of a small mixed year group primary school. Catherine challenged my thinking and encouraged me to evaluate my practice in a supportive but rigorous way. She helped me to become more confident to trust in my own decisions and to believe in myself. Put simply- without her support I would have given up long ago.
Catherine is extremely knowledgeable but in a non-threatening way and she simply ‘gets Headship’ and the world of education.
She has also worked with my staff team to help them to think about their roles and responsibilities.
I would thoroughly recommend her to any individual or team looking for support and a new direction.

I just wanted to say thank you once again for all your time this morning. It was great being able to chew things over with you. You have a natural talent in being able to tease things out in a very supportive way. I really appreciate the time you spent with me and I have already spoken to my senior teacher about taking a couple of days to work on assessment. I have also dug a bit deeper with GPAS and it would appear the basics with sentence structure are a bug bare along with spelling. I am looking forward to working on my new SIP format and promise to not throw the baby out with the bath water!

I was extremely fortunate to have Catherine as my mentor whilst completing my Headship training. Catherine’s expertise, dedication and candor allowed me to develop both professionally and personally. First and foremost, Catherine listened in a non-judgmental manner offering when needed advice, guidance, or tips to steer my thinking and development. I will most definitely be utilising Catherine’s incredible capacity to support and guide again and would encourage others who may need that someone with lived leadership experience to be their critical friend, listening ear or support network to do the same
